A brief stroll from a fully equipped campground and picnic spot, the falls boast an access path and facilities designed for all abilities. Wander along a charming walking trail from the picnic area, crossing the Gellibrand River to reach a viewing platform at the falls’ base. This enchanting destination offers a seamless blend of natural wonder and inclusivity.

The entrance can be slippery when wet, but there is a footpath into the entrance of the Redwoods.
Good To Know
The trail is undulating and may not be suitable for all with accessibility needs. From a walking frame, most of it will be accessible within your own abilities. In a wheelchair, the start of the redwoods and around the edges will be accessible but there is no designated path.

Nestled within the Otway Ranges National Park, Maits Rest is conveniently located 15 minutes away from Apollo Bay. Visitor parking is available, providing access to a variety of boardwalks and gravel paths that guide you through a scenic 30-minute walking circuit. Along the way, immerse yourself in nature, gaze at the majestic ancient trees reaching towards the sky.

- Maits Rest has a relatively level surface and small gradients make this trail generally accessible for prams and wheelchairs.
